This year, the internationally renowned Mukaidono Safety Award was awarded to Tommi Alanko, Director of the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health’s Occupational Safety Unit. "You cannot receive awards like this without good co-operation. In other words, this is a recognition for the work the entire Finnish Institute of Occupational Health and our partners have done to promote occupational safety and well-being," says Tommi Alanko.
The Vision Zero Forum, co-ordinated by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. The forum is a network of workplaces that motivates and encourages the workplaces to strive towards a high level of occupational safety and well-being at work.
"Being once again recognized for our long-term development of occupational safety shows that we have succeeded in promoting the values of the Vision Zero Forum: openness, joint development and encouraging each other," says Tommi Alanko.
